I can’t help but think of the things you write/talk about with your master. The things you think about are like a laundry list. The things that we need are on the list, but the things that we don’t really need are on the list. We just don’t know what to write about.
That’s kind of the goal of scrum master jobs – to write down the things that you have no idea about, the ones you think are important, and the ones you think are not. The idea is to write down the things you don’t need, and the things you think you need, but you dont know you need.
I know this is a bit of a cliche, but I really love this idea. I think it is good to focus on what we really need, even if we don’t know it. We tend to think of the things we dont need as unimportant and unimportant. That’s not really the case though. Being important is important, and being important means you are important.
The best part about this idea is that you are not writing things down. You are just writing things down, and you can keep adding to the list. I dont know if this sounds confusing at all (but it does) but the idea is to keep a list of things that you dont need or want, and things that you think you might need. This list will expand over time, and it is good to keep it in a place where you can see it.
A good example of this is our favorite podcast, The Last Podcast. Our very own Chris and Justin run a podcast where they take their regular listeners and do what we call “scrum master” jobs. They give them advice and give them tasks to accomplish, but mostly they just help them get things done. They are the best at what they do, but just as they are very good people, they are also not perfect. They are just people doing good things.
They are also not perfect because they’re hiring people. That’s another thing that scrum masters do. They are the people that make the podcast. They are the people that help create the podcast. They are the people that make the podcast content. They are the people that build the podcast. They are the people who create the podcast. They are the voices that we hear. They are the people who tell us what to do. They are the people that we are afraid to leave behind.
You are not afraid to leave behind. That’s not the reason scrum masters are here. They are the people that make the podcast.
I think we can all agree that scrum masters are the people who build the podcast. If you can’t find a podcast in your area that has a lot of the same people working on it, you are not alone. I know I can count on one hand the number of podcasts I have listened to that I am still going to enjoy. The podcast is a kind of blog; the podcast creator creates and hosts the podcast. A podcast can be self hosted or hosted by others. The podcast creator needs to have a blog or website. A podcast is not a blog, but it is a form of it. A podcast can be a podcast, a live radio show, an audio book, or a written blog.
