I’m not a big fan of professors when they aren’t teaching. However, there are some that actually like the work and have no problem teaching. In my experience, some professors have no problem with teaching while others are fine with it. Some professors are great and great, but some of them just don’t care about learning and teaching.
I think that we should teach about the best in the world. To teach about those that are great. In the end, all it really matters is that the students learn something. The students learn about the best of the world. If they are interested in learning, they will take what they learn and use it.
Like I said, we have teachers in our community that are great. The problem is I don’t think many of them care about teaching.
Yes, you’re right. I agree with you. I just thought that they are great once they begin to learn.
I’m not saying that every teacher is great, just that if youre not having a positive impact on the student, then you are not doing your job.
That’s true. I think that most people who teach English for a living are terrible. But that’s a different discussion. I am going to leave it at that.
Well, this is the reason why you should never be a professor if you’re into academia.
You might as well forget it and go back to your days of serving as a bank robber. I dont think that youre going to be any different than a bank robber.
If you dont think so, then youre in a class with only a handful of students. Or youre in a class that teaches you how to get your head blown off. I have a friend who was once a teacher and went to college and never did. Of course, he had his share of trouble that way too, being in the wrong profession for a few years. Thats a different matter though.
Well, your question is still open to debate, but I do think the best way to get a job is to be a teacher. The fact of the matter is you can teach classes, but you cant get your head blown off. In a sense, your classes don’t count because you don’t have the right degree. If you’re a good teacher, you will be in the right job eventually.
