10 Things Steve Jobs Can Teach Us About contingent hiring
We are lucky that we had a professional staff, so we had it. I’m not saying hiring contingent does not help, but it can change your life.
If you have a lot of time to spare, and you have a good idea of what kind of people you should hire, then you might be able to make up your mind fairly quickly. As it happens, I’m talking about contingent hiring. A contingent job is one that is advertised in the newspaper and you apply to it. In most cases, it is advertised as a contingency job. A good contingency job will have a small chance of getting you hired.
Not many people know what contingent means, but it really simply means that a job is offered, often with a time limit, but no offer is made for the job. In other words, if you put your heart into the job application, chances are it will be offered and accepted. If you don’t, then you are usually not asked back.
contingent hiring can also mean that a job is offered in a specific location, but no application is sent out. It can also mean that the job is offered to a specific person in the same position. It can also mean that the job is offered in a specific job field. The only thing the job applicant has to do is apply for it. If you are one of the few people who apply for a contingent job, chances are that you will get the job.
I don’t have a job that requires a contingent. If you don’t have a job, then you aren’t looking for it. If you have a job, then you are looking for it.
When I applied for a contingent job, I got a letter saying, “We are currently looking for a contingent to fill a position for the following position: Project Manager, Contractor.” I didn’t apply for the position I was given, so the letter said I didn’t even get the job.
I am going to say this again, but the contingent thing is a joke. It’s like saying you want to be a model but you don’t have a modeling contract.
If you are a contingent, you are not a full time job. What you think of as “a full time job” is really just a temporary job. If you are getting a temp job because you want to make some extra money, that is not “full time”.
